The coaches for Power Dynamos and Simba SC, Mwenya Chipepo and Roberto Olivier, have both declared their teams ready for tomorrow’s CAF Champions League clash in the second round of the competition.
The two teams will meet for the first time in the Champions League.
“We have studied Simba’s weaknesses, and we know where to press them. It’s been a long time since we participated in the Champions League, but that doesn’t mean we can’t beat them,” confidently said Power Dynamos’s Coach.
Simba’s coach, on the other hand, said, “We are here for one thing, and that is to win. Simba is a very big club, and every team in the Champions League needs to respect us.”
Meanwhile, when asked about his team’s seeming lack of scoring abilities in the domestic league, Chipepo quashed the suggestions.
“Look, this game is different. Our [Premier] League performance will not affect us in any way. We beat Africa Stars by scoring one goal at home, and we scored away from home,” he said.

Meanwhile, Olivier showered praise on his Zambian stars, Moses Phiri and Clatous Chama, and said it would be a huge moment for the two.
“Both our Zambian players are important to us. This will be a huge moment for them as they return home. But whether they will be starting is dependent on what type of system we want,” said Olivier during Friday’s pre-match press conference in Ndola.
