Senegalese forward Sadio Mané on Friday night finally scored for the Bayern Munich side that defeated Bayer Leverkusen 4-0 to end his goal-scoring drought.
The Bavarians opened the score-lines three minutes into the game through Leroy Sané after being set up by German teenager Jamial Musiala who later doubled the lead in 17th minute.
Mané who seem to have found his scoring boots after the international break with Senegal where he scored once against Bolivia in an international friendly, found the back of the net for the Bavarians in the 39th minute to finally end his goalless run in the Bundesliga.
He scored for the first time in five games and it was also the Teranga lion’s first goal at the Allianz Arena as well as his fifth goal of the season in the Bundesliga in a match that saw him play 63 minutes before he was subbed off after scoring another goal which was unfortunately ruled out for a foul.
Bayern however, went on to win the match with a 4-0 score line after Thomas Müller added the icing on the cake with a fourth in the 84th minute for the defending Champions.
