Senegal and former Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo told him that his move to Bayern Munich was a ‘great step’.
Mane left Liverpool last season to join Germany giants Bayern Munich for a £35.1 million deal.
During his six years at Liverpool, he won six major trophies, including every major club honour, and scored 120 goals in 269 games.
Mane’s first trophy was the Champions League in 2019, followed by the Premier League the following season.
He completed his English trophy collection by winning the League Cup and FA Cup this year, as well as being a member of the teams that won the 2019 UEFA Super Cup and 2019 FIFA Club World Cup.

The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations winner so far has 11 goals in 24 appearances for Bayern, including three in the Champions League.
He recently returned from an injury he suffered in November which saw him miss the World Cup in Qatar.
