The Premier League has revealed its list of six nominees for the EA Sports FIFA Player of the Month award.
Bolanews takes a look at the six players who have been recognized for delivering the most outstanding performances in February.
KELECHI IHEANACHO
In February, the Nigerian center-forward was on fire, helping his team earn six crucial points in the relegation battle. Iheanacho, dubbed “the senior man” by fans, scored two goals and assisted on three others in four appearances for Leicester City. The East Midlands club will be hoping he can keep scoring to help them avoid relegation.
MARCUS RASHFORD
It’s no surprise that Marcus Rashford is in contention for another Premier League player of the month award. The Manchester United No. 10 is chasing an unprecedented third title of the season. He previously walked away with the accolade in September and January. The in-form striker netted an impressive five goals in only four Premier League games last month.
BERND LENO
The former Arsenal shot-stopper has been a decent signing for Fulham since joining them for only €3.4 million last summer. The German goalkeeper kept three cleansheets in four Premier League games in the past month. His side are currently level on points with Liverpool (6th) and are also above fellow West London clubs Chelsea and Brentford.
EMERSON ROYAL
For the first time since signing for Tottenham Hotspur, Emerson is finally looking like the signing he was expected to be. The fullback was constantly criticized in the past for his defensive errors and lack of attacking output. And finally, his Brazilian touch is beginning to show in his game. His defensive solidity has helped Tottenham keep three clean-sheets in all three Premier League games he’s started. The former Barcelona man also grabbed a crucial goal against West Ham United.

OLLIE WATKINS
The English international has been one of the key figures for Unai Emery since the latter returned to the Premier League. Watkins has found the back of the net in his last five Premier League goals, including four in February. The Aston Villa man is nearly halfway to the Premier League record set by Jamie Vardy in 2016 of scoring in 11 consecutive games.
SOLOMON
Fulham’s summer acquisition, Manor Solomon, had only made one appearance for the club before he suffered an unfortunate knee injury. The injury kept him out of action for five months before he made his return in January. The Israeli forward has notched three Premier League goals in five appearances for Fulham in February.
Premier League coach of the month
Meanwhile, Erik Ten Hag, Antonio Conte, and Fulham’s Marco Silva are in the running for Premier League manager of the month.
