Roc Nation Sports International (RNSI), the global sports agency representing Real Madrid and Brazil forward Vinícius Júnior, has officially expanded into Africa, and Zambia is among its key target regions.

The agency, founded by US entertainment mogul Jay-Z, announced the launch of its Africa strategy in a statement released to Bolanews on Monday, outlining plans to identify, develop, and manage elite football talent across the continent.

Zambia joins a list of priority countries that includes Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Ivory Coast, with new signings expected in the near future.

RNSI, known for its boutique and hands-on approach to athlete management, said it aims to support young African players “on and off the field.

Nathan Campbell, RNSI’s Head of Global Recruitment for Football, described the move as a natural step in the agency’s international vision.

“We believe Africa is a hotbed of untapped footballing potential, and our expansion here is a natural progression of our global vision,” Campbell said.

“Our strategy is built on deep collaboration with local partners, allowing us to understand and address the unique needs of African players, ensuring they receive the best possible support to reach their full potential.”

RNSI has already signed a number of teenage prodigies from South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, The Gambia, Guinea, and Zimbabwe, including talents from clubs such as Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns.

While no Zambian player has yet been named, Campbell confirmed the country is a focus area.

“Other regions on the continent where RNSI will be working include the Ivory Coast and Zambia, with more player signings expected in the near future,” he added.

The agency’s global roster includes top-tier stars such as Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Martinelli, Endrick, and Federico Dimarco, making its presence in Zambia a potentially transformative opportunity for emerging local players.
