Jürgen Klopp praised his Liverpool side for “a lot of good moments” following their 6-1 victory over Leeds United on Monday night.

It was a good day at the office for Liverpool as Mohamed Salah, and Diogo Jota both netted twice for the Reds alongside strikes from Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez.

Luis Sinisterra reduced the deficit in the second stanza for Leeds, but the visitors were merciless shortly afterward and dominated throughout.

Currently 8th on the log, the Reds have 46 points and are now 9 points behind the Champions League places.

When asked what pleased him most from the game, Klopp responded, “I don’t know. What pleased me most? The best moment of the game, the one I enjoyed the most, was the 92nd minute.”

He further stated: “I think it was already five or six-one, we lose the ball and four players chase the poor, poor player from Leeds down in that moment.

“I think that’s the basis for the whole game because that gave us stability,” Klopp said.

“It was, from a counter-pressing point of view, definitely the best game we played this season. In possession probably as well.” He added.

Liverpool will take on Nottingham Forest on Saturday, in their quest to secure Champions League football.
