Power Dynamos have completed the signing of midfielder Joshua Mutale as the club steps up preparations for the new season, where it will be chasing a third consecutive league title.
Mutale, a product of the Young Power Dynamos development side, returns to Arthur Davies Stadium after leaving the club in 2024 to join Tanzanian giants Simba SC.
The Kitwe side confirmed the midfielder’s return in a statement posted on its social media platforms.
“Power Dynamos Football Club is delighted to welcome back prolific midfielder Joshua Mutale.
“Mutale rejoins the club as a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Simba SC, signing a two-year, five-month deal with the club,” the club said.
Mutale becomes one of Power’s key acquisitions ahead of the new campaign as the defending champions strengthen their squad.
The Kitwe giants are also reported to have beaten rivals Zesco United to the midfielder’s signature.
