The Atlas Lions of Morocco face the Lions of Teranga in what promises to be a blockbuster grand finale at the highest level of African football.

The North Africans head into the fixture as slight favourites, buoyed by home support, but Senegal remain a formidable force and cannot be underestimated.

Morocco, the 1976 AFCON champions, have enjoyed a resurgence in recent years, and home fans will be hoping their impressive form can propel them to continental glory once again. With the Atlas Lions currently at the peak of their powers, they will be keen to assert their dominance by maximising home advantage.

Morocco are unbeaten in 23 matches and booked their place in the final after overcoming a highly rated Nigerian side. Senegal, on the other hand, produced a strong performance to eliminate Egypt in the semi-finals.

Both teams enter the final in fine form, having recorded four wins in their last five matches.

Head-to-Head: Morocco holds a slight edge over Senegal, having won two of their last three meetings. With both nations chasing only their second-ever AFCON title, this encounter has all the ingredients to keep fans on the edge of their seats.

Betting Tip: Go for goals. Both teams to score in the match (GG)

Odds: 2.27
