Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club head coach Zeddy Saileti is aiming to collect maximum points away at Chambishi Football Club in Saturday’s Week 25 ZPL National League encounter.

The two sides drew in the first round, but Kansanshi Dynamos is second position with 48 points, while Chambishi is 15th with 23 points.

In a pre-match interview, Saileti acknowledged the team’s struggles in amassing maximum points when playing away from home.

Saileti noted that the change in the technical bench at Chambishi Football Club is likely to give them the zeal to fight hard and try to beat Kansanshi Dynamos.

“We are ready for the game. We’ve done our preparation very well. We’ve psyched the players. It has been a while since we picked the maximum points on the road, and it has been worrying,” Saileti noted.

In regard to the measures put in place to remedy the absence of away wins, Saileti says, “We just need to play our cards well because, Chambishi also, they’ve been strong in the last five games since they changed their technical bench. I think they’ve been motivated. So, it’s a big game for us. We just need to work hard as a team to pick up the maximum points. That’s our target.”

Despite posting a 2-1 win over Aguila Stars last weekend, Saileti has noted that it has been challenging for his team to deal with long balls.

“We have to keep the midfield tight, and we have to create a lot of scoring opportunities. We have to take our chances, and that’s the message. And we failed to manage the long balls, but we’ve dealt with that. We’ve gone through our drills, and we know it’s going to be the same type of game against Chambishi. So, we just need to control our long balls. And, of course, their wing plays also; we picked a lot of positives on our last game,” he revealed.

“We really have to be consistent, if we want to win the championship, we need to be consistent. And we’ve told them, we have to improve on our performance in each and every game. Each and every game is a different ball game.”
