When FC MUZA visits Kabwe Warriors, at Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium, this Saturday, their head Coach Lameck Banda, has predicted a tough match against the home side.
After going unbeaten for eight weeks, Warriors have suffered back-to-to back defeats, 2-1 to Power Dynamos and 0-2 to defending Champions, Red Arrows in a mid-week fixture.
The Elegant Dynamites face Kabwe Warriors today in a Week Ten Super League fixture in Kabwe.
Kabwe Warriors have had an edge over FC MUZA, securing a win and a draw in last season’s league fixtures and an additional victory in the ABSA Cup meeting. However, Mumamba is cautious, warning against complacency.
“FC Muza is not a team to underrate; they are a very good team. I think it is a team that, when you underrate them, they can surprise you. So we just have to take them on like any other big team so that we can get a victory. Because for us, this is a must-win game.”
In a pre-match interview, Banda acknowledged that his team expects a tough encounter against the Kabwe-based side.
However, he expressed confidence in his team’s preparedness, stating.
“We’ve adequately prepared for the game, and our aim is to secure a victory.”
Kelvin Mwanza, is expected to make a return to the starting eleven for FC MUZA.
Mwanza, has signed a two-year deal after agreeing with the Club on better terms and conditions, following a failed switch to Power Dynamos.
Currently, FC MUZA occupies 10th position with 12 points from nine league matches, while Kabwe Warriors on 6th place with 13 points, just one point ahead of the team from Mazabuka.
