Nchanga Rangers coach Robert Tembo has promised to make things difficult for Red Arrows in the 2024 ABSA Cup semi-finals tomorrow.

He says the team is ready to face Arrows and will not allow their opponents to outplay them.

The Chingola-based club and Red Arrows will compete for a spot in the 2024 ABSA Cup final at Kitwe’s Arthur Davies Stadium.

Rangers have gone winless in their last three league games and face an in-form Arrows side that is one point away from being crowned Super League champions.

Nchanga eliminated Zesco United in the ABSA Cup quarterfinals. They will look to pull up a surprise for the Airmen tomorrow.

Tembo said his team will work on a plan to stop their opponents from dominating play.

“We are preparing very well,” Tembo told Nchanga Rangers FC media… “For sure; we know Red Arrows are a good team. They are on top of the league table; they are playing good football. Otherwise, tactically, we will not allow red arrows to outplay us; we will work on how to handle them; we are ready for them,” Tembo confidently stated.

He continued: “It gives us much confidence because we have been working hard throughout since the league started.

“It is not by fluke for us to play the semi-final……. It is through hard work that has made us stay at the top of the table and play semi-finals in the ABSA Cup.”

Meanwhile, in the other semifinal match, FC MUZA will clash with Kabwe Warriors for a spot in the final.
