Gift Zulu eyes victory for Napsa against his former side Nkana

Napsa Stars will fancy their chances against a struggling Nkana side, winless this season.

13 times league winners, Nkana, have a huge task to pick their first three points when they face Napsa Stars at Woodland’s stadium this Saturday.

Napsa have been inconsistent this season will seek redemption as they face a struggling Nkana side, winless this season.

Speaking to Napsa stars media ahead of the match, the team’s right-back Gift Zulu believes the match will be a huge test for the team as they face a side that has not won any match this season. 

“This is one of the big challenges because we are playing a team which hasn’t won any game since we started the season, we know they are looking for a first win, it will be a tough game,” said Zulu.

The former Nkana player, has promised to up his game in order to overcome the challenges in the Saturday match. 

“I am prepared for the challenge you know Nkana has got a huge fan base and the influence of the fans, but we are ready for the challenge,” Zulu said.

The 30-year-old right back has been a key member of the Napsa stars squad since joining them during the 2021/22 season from Nkana.

Nkana remains stuck at the bottom of the rankings, while Napsa is in 11th place with 8 points after 7 games played.
