Sky Sports reports that, the 24-year-old star is set to be frozen out by PSG. The player will not play until the end of his contract next year.
PSG have stopped selling the player’s shirt and have torn down posters of the star at their stadium.
The France captain remains in a stand-off with the club over his failure to sign a contract extension. The player is prepared to sit out the entire season so he can leave on free transfer to Real Madrid.
The situation is so toxic that head coach Luis Enrique even considered leaving just one month after his appointment.
