João Cancelo is close to finalizing his switch to Barcelona on loan from Manchester City. Reports The Guardian. The deal of around €25m is reportedly agreed with an option to buy, as the player is preparing to travel to Spain today.
This will be Cancelo’s second loan spell in seven months after he went to Bayern Munich at the end of the previous transfer window.
The Portuguese international won the Bundesliga title with the Bavarian giants and was decent in his outings at the club. However, they did not sign him permanently, with the purchase option being too expensive.
