In search of their first super league victory of the year, seven-time champions Zanaco football club will travel to Mazabuka to play MUZA football team in a rescheduled midweek match at Nakambala Stadium.
The bankers, who drew 1-1 with Forest Rangers last weekend, will be eager to pick up a win away from home as they currently have one point from two matches played so far.
While MUZA, who just advanced to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup event after defeating Cano Sport 3-0 on Sunday, will be looking to start the season on a positive note.
The head coach of Zanaco, Wedson Nyirenda, assured the media before the game that his team was ready despite facing the hot MUZA squad, which had just secured CAF confederation cup second round qualification.

Mathews Ndhlovu, the head coach of MUZA FC, will want to make an impression in his debut campaign with the Elegant Dynamites in order to build on his stellar campaign from the previous year.
“It won’t be easy since MUZA will start confidently because they are at home, but this time we are ready and we look excellent. So far, so good, but I believe that there is still much to be done,” said Nyirenda.

This season, Wedson has made a significant number of acquisitions because the bankers are aiming for a top-four finish and he has high expectations.
