Barcelona have reached an agreement with Girona over the signing of Oriol-Romeu to the club. Romeu has agreed to sign a 3 year contract with Barca, until June 30, 2026. His release clause is set at 400m euros.

The native of Ulldecona, returns to Barcelona where he started he’s dream in 2004 at La Masia. He played two official matches with the first team of the FC Barcelona, under the orders of Pep Guardiola, during the 2010/11 season.
After his first stance at Barça, he played for many other clubs including Chelsea, Valencia, Stuttgart and finally Southampton, where he became a manager and played 256 matches in 6 years
He becomes Barcelona’s third signing of the summer transfer window.
