Atletico Lusaka Football Club head coach Brian Kunsanama says the fight against relegation is still alive despite his team losing 2-1 to Mutondo Stars in a Week 32 encounter at Nkoloma Stadium on Saturday.
The defeat left Atletico Lusaka in 15th place with 36 points, level with Zanaco FC, who also lost to Nchanga Rangers 2-0 but have a better goal difference.

Mutondo Stars sit on top of the drop zone with a point difference following Saturday’s away win.
Reacting to the result, Kunsanama described the defeat as painful while expressing optimism about staying afloat in the MTN Super League.
He reaffirmed the team’s desire to stay in the top-flight league and urged the team to push in the remaining two matches.
“Home defeat. Well, we needed a win, a must win. Painful one, but, football being football, we accept the result because there’s nothing we can do now. The game is gone, apart from focusing on the next one. Two more games to go,” Kunsanama said.
Kunsanama adds that the relegation dogfight is still on until the last kick of the season.
“We’re not giving up. It’ll only be over when it’s over. For now, we still have two more games to go. That’s why I can tell you that, as Atletico Lusaka, we’ll still push,” he concluded.
