EPL: Liverpool to improve bid for Lavia

Liverpool are preparing a second bid for Romeo Lavia of around £42.5m fee, plus £2.5m in add ons. Totaling a £45million package, reports Fabrizio Romano.

The Reds will want to seal this deal quickly as Chelsea also want the 19 year-old at Stamford Bridge.

Yesterday their bid worth £40m for the midfielder was rejected as Southampton are holding out for £50m.

Lavia has four years left on his Southampton contract after joining from Man City last summer.
