Jordan Henderson announced as a new player for Al-Ettifaq on a 3 year contract and joins Steven Gerrard. Reports The Mirror.
Liverpool agreed a deal of £12million, which was confirmed on Thursday.
Henderson has faced fierce criticism for his decision to move to Saudi Arabia given his previous support for the LGBT+ community.
The former England captain will be well compensated with a package worth £700,000 a week.
He originally joined in a £16m move from Sunderland back in the summer of 2011. Henderson has gone on to make 492 appearances for the club since, scoring 33 goals. He has won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and a whole host of other medals.
