Chelsea have rejected West Ham’s bid of £40m for midfielder Conor Gallagher, Reports the Athletic.
Gallagher has two years left on his contract.
The Hammers are in need of re-enforcement for their midfield, after they sold Declan Rice to Arsenal for £105m. Gallagher is currently on pre-season tour in USA and scored for Pochettino’s side in the win over Brighton.
Earlier this year, the England midfielder rejected a move to Everton worth £45m.
Gallagher failed to secure a regular first-team spot last season.
The 23 year old midfielder came through the Chelsea academy and spent most of he’s time on loan. He’s been with Charlton Athletic, Swansea City, West Brom and Crystal Palace between 2019 and 2022.
