Zesco have hijacked Power Dynamos’ move for Chipolopolo striker Kennedy Musonda, with the forward set to be unveiled by the Ndola side soon.
Power had held initial discussions with Musonda over a possible return to Arthur Davies Stadium after his unsuccessful spell in Israel.
However, the Chipolopolo forward has instead been persuaded to join Zesco United, who are rebuilding their squad ahead of a renewed bid for the MTN Super League title.

Club sources have confirmed to Bolanews that Musonda has successfully completed his medical and is expected to begin training with his new teammates on Monday.
“He was here yesterday (Friday) and will be back on Monday for training. The medicals have been done and terms have been agreed,” the source said.
Musonda left Power Dynamos in 2023 to join Tanzanian giants Yanga after an outstanding campaign in which he scored 11 goals in 17 matches.
He moved to Israeli side Hapoel Ramat Gan Givatayim in 2025 before later joining Hapoel Nof HaGalil on a free transfer following a brief spell at the club.
Earlier this month, several MTN Super League clubs expressed interest in signing the striker, with Power Dynamos initially considered favourites to secure his signature.
However, Zesco United have won the race and are now expected to announce him in the coming days.
