Green Buffaloes’ ABSA qualification hangs
At Edwin Imboela Stadium, Green Buffaloes laboured a 1-1 draw against Mufulira Wanderers. The draw leaves the Zambia Army-sponsored side on the verge of missing out on qualification to the Absa Cup.
Green Buffaloes will now qualify for the Absa Cup if Nkwazi fails to collect full maximum points in tomorrow’s match against Lumwana Radiants.
Green Eagles secure ABSA qualification
Despite a goalless draw against FC MUZA at Nakambala Stadium in Mazabuka, Green Eagles have secured their spot in the Absa Cup as they maintained their sixth place on the log.
The following teams have secured qualification to the Absa Cup: ZESCO United, Kabwe Warriors, Nkana, Power Dynamos, Red Arrows, and Green Eagles, as determined by the top six standings midway through the season.
Only one spot is remaining for the Super League teams, with Nkwazi in need of a minimum of one point to qualify as Green Buffaloes remain in waiting.
