The Zambian Super League returns this weekend with week 9 action.

Red Arrows vs Nchanga Rangers

The two teams have met 24 times with the Airmen winning 6 games while Rangers have won 4 games. The other 14 games have ended in draws.

Arrows currently are log leaders with 17 points from 8 games played. They have won 5 games, drawn 2, and only lost one game while Rangers are placed in the sixth position with 12 points having won 3, drawn 3 and lost 2 games so far.

Napsa Stars vs Kabwe warriors

The pensioners moved to fifth position after beating Zesco United in a mid-week fixture played on Wednesday. They have 12 points after winning 3 games, drawn 3 and lost 2 .

On the other hand, Kabwe Warriors are 14th on the table with 8 points, one point above the relegation zone after managing to win only one game, 5 draws and 2 losses.

In their last 7 meetings, the pensioners have beaten Warriors twice while the Kabwe side has won three games with the remaining two ending in draws.

Nkwazi vs Chambishi

Nkwazi is sitting in the 15th position on the table with 7 points having only managed to win one game, drawn four and lost three games.

Chambishi is placed on the 17th position with only 4 points after recording one win and draw and lost six games.

Their last two meetings in the Super League saw the Zambia police-sponsored side losing one game and drawing the other game.

Lumwana Radiants vs Green Buffaloes

Lumwana are 8th on the table, they have won 3 games, drawn 2 and lost 3 and have collected 11 points so far and will host a Green Buffaloes side that is placed in 7th position with 11 points having won 2 games, drawn 5 and lost one.

In their last three meetings, Lumwana has won twice while Buffaloes have only won once with one draw.

Muza FC vs Forest Rangers

Forest is still unbeaten this season and will travel to Mazabuka to face Muza FC who are sitting in 9th position with 11 points, from the 8 games played after winning three times, drawing and losing twice.

Forest rangers are fourth placed on the table, having won 3 games, and drawn 5 times so far this season to sit in the 14 points.

The last two meetings between the two teams have met twice and ended in draws.

Prison leopards vs Nkana

Prison Leopards will also head into this weekend’s fixture undefeated from their last 8 games and sitting in 2nd position on the standings with 16 points having so far recorded 4 wins and 4 draws.

Nkana on the other hand is battling in the relegation zone, sitting in position 16 with 6 points.

The Kitwe side has only managed to win one game, drawn three and lost four games.

Both teams have met four times with Nkana winning one game while the Correct Boys have won 2 games and one game has ended in a draw.

Zesco United vs Kansanshi Dynamos

Zesco United in a mid-week fixture lost to Napsa stars and dropped to 13th position with 9 points. Out of the 8 games played they have won two, drawn three and lost two games.

Kansanshi Dynamos are placed in the 12th position with 10 points after winning winning two games, drawing four and losing.

Their last four meetings has seen both teams win one game each with the other two ending in a draw.

Power Dynamos vs Buildcon

Power Dynamos host struggling Buildcon at the Author Davies stadium in kitwe this weekend as they look to record two win from two consecutive matches after beating Kabwe Warriors in their last match.

In their last 10 meetings Buildcon, Dynamos has won 3 games while Buildcon has won 5 games and the other two games have ended in a draw.

Eagles are placed on the 10th position with 11 points, they have so far won three games, drawn two and lost three while Zanaco are 11th placed on the table with 11 points.

The Bankers have played 8 games won three, drawn two and lost three.

In their last 8 meetings both Zanaco and Eagles have won 2 games each with four games ending in draws.
