Zambian Super League matches to bet on this weekend

The Zambian Super League returns for the 23rd round this weekend, with Power Dynamos, Zesco, Napsa, FC Muza, and defending champions Red Arrows among those set to be in action.

Lumwana Radiants vs Kabwe Warriors

Lumwana radiants are ranked 16th with 24 points, while Kabwe warriors are ranked 13th with 26 points.

The Solwezi-based side has won six games, drawn six, and lost ten, scoring 20 goals and conceding 24.

Warriors has won 5, drawn 11, and lost 6, scoring 17 goals and conceding 16.

In their previous seven meetings, the visitors were dominant, winning four games while the hosts won one and drew the other two.

BETTING TIP: Match to end in a draw with both teams to score at least one goal.

Power Dynamos vs Zesco United

League leaders Power Dynamos host Zesco at Authur Davies this Saturday in what many anticipate to be the weekend’s biggest match.

The home team has won two of their previous seven meetings, the visitors have won one, and the remaining four games have ended in draws.

Power leads the league table with 42 points, while Zesco who have just found their form are in ninth place with 30 points.

Power has won 11, drawn nine, and lost two of the 22 games played, scoring 25 and conceding eight goals, while Zesco has won 7, drawn nine, and lost six, scoring 24 and conceding 19 goals.

BETTING TIP: Try Double Chance (12) for either team to win and both teams to score (GG).

Red Arrows vs Zanaco

Defending champions, Red Arrows who are in fifth place with 34 points, host Zanaco who are in eighth place with 31 points.

Zanaco have lost both their last two league matches and will seek redemption when they meet the Airmen at Nkoloma stadium.

Both teams have won one match in their previous six meetings, with the other four ending in draws.

Arrows have won 9, drawn 7, and lost 6, scoring 22 goals and conceding 20. Zanaco, on the other hand, have won 8, drawn 7, and lost 7, scoring 21 goals and conceding 20.

BETTING TIP: Red Arrows to win with 2-3 goals in the match.

ODD: 3.80

Green Eagles vs Kansanshi Dynamos

Green Eagles are ranked 11th with 29 points, while Kansanshi Dynamos are ranked 10th with 29 points.

Eagles have won two of their previous five meetings with Kansanshi, while the Mabanga Boys have won only one, and the other two games have ended in draws.

The Choma-based side has gone five Super League games without a win, while Kansashi has drawn four of their last five games and won only one.

Eagles have won 8, drawn 5, and lost 9 of their 22 games, scoring 20 goals and conceding 24 goals. Kansanshi, on the other hand, has won 6, drawn 11, and lost 5, scoring 20 goals and conceding 19 goals.

BETTING TIP: Try double chance for either team to win with 1-3 goals in the match at full time.

FC MUZA vs Napsa Stars

FC MUZA, the Zambian Super League’s surprise package this season, will host Napsa stars in Choma as they look to move up to second place for the second time in this campaign.

Muza has gone unbeaten at home in their last five games and will look to stop the tactical Napsa, who are coming off a 0-1 loss to leaders Power Dynamos.

Napsa had gone unbeaten in January until their loss last weekend and will be looking to get back on track.

The last meeting between these two was in October last year and Muza were thumped 3-0 in Lusaka.

Revenge? Well, known for being stubborn at home, Muza will surely give Perry Mutapa’s lads a good run for their money.
