Midfielder Youremember Banda has rejoined Green Buffaloes after leaving the club two seasons ago, BolaNews has learnt.

Banda left the army-sponsored side during the 2022/23 season to join Green Eagles on loan. The former Napsa Stars player spent a stint with the Choma-based side before moving to the junior team Riflemen, based in Lusaka, in 2024.

He has now been recalled to his parent club as part of the team’s reinforcements ahead of the 2025/26 Super League season.

The ex-Chipolopolo midfielder has been training with the squad and took part in the 10-day pre-season camp in Mufulira.

“He was recalled back by the club and they both agreed on a new deal. He has been training and he was part of the pre-season training on the Copperbelt. He has also featured in all the friendly matches that the team has played so far,” a BolaNews source said.

Meanwhile, Green Buffaloes will kick off their 2025/26 campaign with a tough fixture against city rivals Nkwazi.
