In their Week 9 Super League match against the weeping boys, Mines United, at Solwezi Independence Stadium on Saturday, winless Kansanshi Dynamos will look to record their first league victory.

The Mabanga boys’ journey to fight for maximum points have continued as they remain without a win from eight league matches played so far.

Last weekend, Kansanshi Dynamos played out to a 1-1 draw against NAPSA Stars at Lusaka’s REIZ Arena.

With back-to-back draws recorded, Kansanshi Dynamos will be seeking to put up an impressive performance this time around in front of their home fans.

Head coach Zeddy Saileti hopes Kansanshi Dynamos will be on top of things and deliver a strong performance against visiting Mines United.

The Zeddy Saileti-coached side are 15th on the table with five points, marking five draws and three defeats.

Speaking to the club’s media ahead of the match, Saileti acknowledged the significance of the game.

“It’s another difficult game; our objective still remains the same: we want to win the game. We have done our preparations; we have psyched the players. Mentally they have to be strong because there is pressure from the soccer fans; they want us to win,” he said.

“So our players, they have to give their all; so if we work as a team, we will achieve our goal,” added the coach.

“Mentally we have told our players not to underrate Mines United because they are also looking for a win; it’s a competition, but the emphasis is we should not underrate them. We should not rely on our past performance,” emphasized Saileti.
