Kansanshi Dynamos will host Nkwazi Football Club in their week 16 fixture at Solwezi Independence Stadium on Saturday.

The home side seem to be high on confidence after they beat FC Leopards 3-0 in their previous fixture last Saturday in Kabwe.

Kansanshi Dynamos will be seeking to extend their winning momentum on home soil this time around.

The Mabanga boys are currently placed 14th on the log with 14 points from 15 matches played so far.

Speaking to the club’s media ahead of the match, Dynamos assistant coach Dennis Makinka admitted that he is not under pressure to face his former team.

“Excited to face Nkwazi” – Makinka.

“Yes, it’s my former club, the place where I started coaching, so it doesn’t give pressure really, but of course coming up against your blood is difficult, so it’s going to be a tough game, and I am just excited that I will be reuniting with my former workmates. It’s an exciting game. I have no pressure; we just have to do well so that we come out with positive results,” he said.

“We are playing Nkwazi, a tricky fixture, you know. Obviously Nkwazi were down 2-0 last weekend, and they fought back, meaning that it’s a team that never gives up easily and it’s a team that plays together,” added Makinka.

The Solwezi-based side have managed to win two games, draw eight, and lose five matches, respectively.

“We have the same points, but they are above us because of goal difference. They are also fighting to move out of the bottom place. The game is going to be tough, but we have also prepared, and we have a few ideas on how they play. We have to be strong; those are policemen; they will never give you an easy game,” concluded the coach.
