Nduna Zulu came off the bench to score an 88th-minute winner to help Nkana register a second victory in a row, their third victory of the 2025-26 MTN FAZ Super league season.

Struggling Nkana defeated FC MUZA 1-0 in Mazabuka, to ease pressure on coach Mwenya Chipepo.

Nkana is 14th on the table with 16 points from 15 matches, two points clear of the relegation zone.

In post match interview, Chipepo acknowledged that it was not easy collecting maximum points in Mazabuka.

“Every time we come here, we go back with bad results, but I am very, very delighted today; the guys fought hard until the last minute when we scored that winning goal,” he said.

Chipepo justified the decision by his technical bench to make tactical changes when the score line was tied at nil-all.

“We had no option but to rest those guys who started, they worked very hard but couldn’t convert so we had to bring in fresh legs and you saw what happened“
