Zesco United coach Emmanuel Siwale is hoping that some of the key injured players will return to fitness before the clash against league leaders Power Dynamos in their next league game.
Super League teams will be out of action this weekend as the ABSA Cup takes centre stage.

Siwale, who celebrated a 1 – 0 win over Green Buffaloes on Thursday is already plotting on how to go level on points with Oswald Mutapa’s men who are without a loss since January 11.
He is keeping fingers crossed that the likes of Freddy Michael, Tandi Mwape, George Ngoma and Abraham Siankombo will return before the game against Power.
“We have injuries,” he said. “There is nothing that we can do but to make use of them [the available players].”

Zesco are on 51 points, three behind Power Dynamos. He said the ABSA Cup break is a welcome one.
“This is what we have been going through, it has not been a good ride in terms of injuries because each time those who are back, others go back [injured] so it has disturbed our rhythm. We have to work with what we have.
“[The ABSA Cup break] has come at the right time, we have been hit by the injuries so I am sure it may be, until we get a full report we cannot say much but we hope that things don’t go to the worst,” Siwale said.
