Following the lifting of their FIFA registration ban, which stemmed from disputes with former players over unpaid salary arrears, Nkana Football Club has continued its squad rebuild ahead of the 2026/27 season with the signing of four players on long-term contracts.
The Kitwe giants have announced the arrival of winger Jackson Kampamba, defender Simon Chipanama, midfielder Abel Kanyamuna, and Francis Bubu Mutalange.
Kampamba joins Kalampa on a two-and-a-half-year contract following a spell with Kabwe Warriors. The 22-year-old winger becomes the latest addition as the club strengthens its squad for the upcoming campaign.
Nkana have also secured the services of 24-year-old defender Simon Chipanama, who has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the club.
The club further confirmed the signing of Francis Bubu Mutalange from Atletico Lusaka Football Club.
Meanwhile, midfielder Abel Kanyamuna has also put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
The 24-year-old joins Nkana with valuable experience gained both locally and abroad. Kanyamuna previously spent time with Portuguese side CD Trofense and Italian Serie A club Cagliari Calcio, where he featured for the club’s Under-17 and Under-19 teams and earned call-ups to the senior squad.
Kanyamuna also captained Atletico Lusaka before moving to Nkana, as the former league champions continue to bolster their ranks ahead of the new season.
Nkana is preparing for the transitional league, which is set to kick off from September to December as part of the league calendar restructuring.
