Mwimanzi confident Green Buffaloes can win 2024-25 league title

Out of the seven games played, Buffaloes have managed to record three victories, two draws, and two losses.

Green Buffaloes defender Fredrick Mwimanzi thinks his team has what it takes to win the 2024-25 league title this year.

The Nyanta Boys have eleven points after seven games in the Zambian Premier League, which puts them in fourth place on the log.

Out of the seven games played, Buffaloes have managed to record three victories, two draws, and two losses.

Speaking to Bolanews exclusively, the former Kabwe Warriors man is confident Buffaloes are the favourites to win the league title this season.

“The team has all the quality to fight for the league this season. Am confident they will finish in the top two of the league standings,”said Mwimanzi.

Since returning to the Buffaloes from club’s mandatory military training this season, Mwimanzi has made two appearances.

In a Week eight fixture, after the international break, Green Buffaloes will face Kabwe Warriors, his former side, at Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium.
