Chipepo Chases Third League Win As Nkana Visits Indeni FC

Indeni welcome Nkana on back of a 1-0 defeat to Nkwazi, leaving them in 18th position with just two points from 10 games played.

Mwenya Chipepo, is on a mission to guide Nkana FC to their treble league victory when the Kitwe side, takes on relegation fighters, Indeni in a Week 11 fixture on Saturday.

Ahead of this match, Indeni FC have beaten Nkana three times compared to a single victory for Kalampa registered in 2012 from nine competitive league meetings.

In his second away fixture out of three fixtures in charge, Chipepo leads his lads to neigboring town, to face his former side, Indeni at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

The Oil men battling demotion will be looking to secure their first win of the season having gone 10 matches. Last week, they lost away 1 nil to Nkwazi at Edwin Imboela Stadium.

Nkana have posted three wins, four draws and three defeats compared to eight defeats and two draws of Indeni FC

The 13-time Zambian league champions are coming from two victories 3-1 apiece against Mufulira Wanderers at Shinde Stadium and Red Arrows, at their slaughter house, Kitwe Stadium.

Six points gained has lifted Kalampa from the D-zone up to 10th place in the standings, amassing 13 points from 10 matches. Indeni is on 18th position with 2 points from 10 matches.

Nkana’s striking force has scored six goals have found allowing only two goals in their last two matches. 

Mwenya, former Power Dynamos, Forest Rangers coach, will depend on Lazarus Kambole, Patrick Gondwe, Jacob Ngulube, and Idris Mbombo to secure a fourth victory of the season against the Ndola side. 

Maximum points over the Indeni FC will see Kalampa move to 16 points.
