Nchanga Rangers assistant coach Israel Mwanza believes his side can end their 28-year wait for the Super League title this season.
Rangers have not won the league since 1998. Yesterday, they held former champions Zesco United to a scoreless draw at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola in a rescheduled match.
The draw saw Rangers move into third on the log with 25 points, six behind leaders Red Arrows.
After the game, Mwanza told reporters that his side has what it takes to come back strong and mount a title challenge in the second half of the season.

“We are going for the bread; we are not going to rest, but we are going to prepare for the second round.
“You have to fight and challenge for the title; [we have] a 100 percent chance to finish in the top four,” Mwanza said.
His opposite number, Emmanuel Siwale, described the game as a tactical one, having faced a team coached by former Zesco coach George Lwandamina.
“They came not to lose, I am sure they are happy with the point that they got,” Siwale said. “What we needed was just a goal; we were going to win.”
He said the result was fair, but his team wanted to win the match.
