However, it is understood that Kansanshi officials will meet with Atletico Lusaka this weekend in the hopes of presenting a bid for the striker.

The Solwezi-based club, which has struggled to find a consistent goal scorer, is hoping to make a successful bid.

Trident, who currently lead the National Division League, are also interested in signing the striker. They are hoping that promotion to the Super League will help them entice the him.

Meanwhile, Mutandwa’s handlers are said to also be in contact with Zesco and the Kabwe Warriors.

Mutandwa is the first Atletico player to hit double-digit goals

He is admired for his strength, ability to go up against defenders, and clinical finishing. He is also the first Atletico striker to reach double figures.

The teenager is eight goals behind the National Division One reigning top scorer, Clive Biyeta of Mufulira Wanderers who has 18 goals.
