Sipo Mumbi, assistant coach of Nkana Football Club, is certain that the 13-time Champions must continue to put in a lot of effort if they are to stay in the Zambian Super League following their seven-match unbeaten streak.

On Thursday afternoon, Nkana played to a scoreless draw with Green Buffaloes at Edwin Imboela Stadium in Lusaka.

Nkana’s next match is against Kansanshi Dynamos, who are coming into this match high on confidence after defeating Mutondo Stars 1-0 on Wednesday.

Speaking to journalists after the match, Mumbi explained that the team will utilize home advantage to collect maximum points.

“They are coming off a win, so it won’t be an easy game. “We’re determined to take advantage of the home ground and collect maximum points”

Mumbi added that the race to survive relegation is still with three league matches left of the current season.
