Napsa Stars head coach, Sipho Mumbi, has admitted that pressure is mounting but insists his players are ready to deliver a strong performance against Power Dynamos.
The Pensioners will face the defending champions in their week four encounter at Arthur Davies Stadium.
Mumbi’s side has endured a slow start to the season after recording two draws and one defeat in their first three games of the season.
They played out a 1-1 stalemate against Red Arrows in their last game before the international break and will be targeting victory against Aba Yellow.
Speaking ahead of the match, Mumbi acknowledged the pressure but expressed confidence.
“Big game for us considering the fact that we haven’t won any games and this is going to be our fourth match so we are looking forward to it,” he said.
On pressure, Mumbi admitted: “Yes I think pressure is always going to be there, but it’s just a matter of how you handle it. I think going to this game we are motivated for the fact that we are playing a very big opponent and they have got a lot to lose and we are going to go there and try to express ourselves and play our football.”
Napsa Stars and Power Dynamos will clash tomorrow in Kitwe. The last time the two met in the MTN Super League, Dynamos won 2-0.
