Midfielder Shadreck Malambo has revealed that he is currently in talks with several Super League and National League clubs about his next move after leaving Indeni FC.
Malambo, Chishimba Changala, Jubell Sakala, Jonathan Tembo, Thompson Sindowe, and Chomba Mulenga were recently released by the Ndola team.
He was on loan to Indeni from his parent club, Red Arrows. He joined the ‘Oilo Boys’ from another Ndola club, Forest Rangers, where he was also on loan and won his third Absa Cup title, making him the only player to have done so with three different clubs.
Malambo was part of the Indeni side that won promotion to the MTN Super League after finishing fourth in the National League last season.
Malambo on next move
In an interview with BolaNews, Malambo stated that he could not reveal the club he was joining because he had not yet agreed to the terms of the offer.
“I’m currently training with one club, but we have not yet agreed on terms because I am still considering offers from a Super League team and another from a National League team. Once I decide on the club to join, I will make it known,” he said. “I am also considering my family. We have settled well in Ndola over the last few years, but in football, you have to be ready to go wherever the opportunity takes you.”
The former Nkana midfielder also expressed his gratitude to his previous club for the opportunity to represent them in the National League and Super League.
“My time at Indeni was a great learning experience. I learned a lot from former coach Tenant Chembo, including the current coach Keegan Syabeene. We were like a family as players and fought hard to ensure the team won promotion despite some challenges the club was facing,” Malambo said.
