Kabwe Warriors have soared to the summit of the Zambian Premier League table after a convincing 0-2 victory over Zesco United at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa stadium on Saturday.

Gabriel Banda gave Warriors the lead in the sixth minute, before Francis Banda’s goal in the 50th minute.

With the win, the Magificient Peoples team tops the table with 28 points, two ahead of Zesco on 26 points from 14 league matches.

After a one-nil loss to Zanaco at Sunset Stadium on Wednesday, Nkana went back to winning ways with a three -nil victory over Green Buffaloes.

The is a second defeat for title-chasing Buffaloes, who lost to Nkwazi 1-2 in at Edwin Imboela Stadium.

Jacob Ngulube 4′ Lazarous Kambole 37″ Mathews Banda 53 gave Kalampa the goal to complete a well-earned triumph.
