After a five-year absence, Green Eagles goalie Given Kaambila says he is eager to assist his team in securing continental football next season.
The Choma-based team, failed to place in the top six in the league standings last season.
Last season, Eagles finished in 12th place on the ZPL table.
Eagles also suffered first round elimination in the 2025 ABSA Cup.
Eagles will be looking for new hope under their new coach Perry Mutapa after recently parting ways with their former coach and the entire technical bench.
Speaking to Bolanews exclusively, Kaambila promises to put up a battle to assist the squad qualify for the CAF Champions League and compete in the ABSA Cup tournament.
“This time around I want to win the ABSA and win the league. I know it won’t be easy because every team is putting in their best, but for us at Eagles this is a whole different season though it requires alot of hard work,”he said.
“I believe we will be in the top four of the league come next season with no doubt, I will make sure I help the team reach the ABSA finals as well as qualifying for continental,”added the shotstopper.
In the meanwhile, Green Eagles will play NAPSA stars away from home to start their 2025–26 Super League Season.
