As Nkana goes head-to-head against Zesco United this weekend, they will not want to be reminded that the Ndola side managed to pick a win the last time they met.
A mouthwatering clash awaits the two teams at the weekend. They are currently evenly poised on 33 points, although Nkana leads the pack thanks to a superior goal difference.
Speaking about the upcoming match, Nkana coach Mwenya Chipepo stated that his team will be difficult to beat because they have gained confidence.
“The guys have confidence; they have really improved… It won’t be easy to take us from that position,” Chipepo said after his side’s 2–0 win over Mutondo Stars.
However, Siwale, who masterminded a 1–0 win over the leaders in the first round, has warned that his men are going to plan for the 13-time champions.
“I cannot speak for Nkana; I will talk about my team. We will plan for them; we are playing at home. I know if you go by the game we played, which I do not want to talk about… A game is played in 90 minutes; we just have to plan well and play them,” Siwale said.
Siwale said his side is looking to improve on converting chances.
“We are still moving; the journey is still there. The first round, the boys did well so we just have to continue working…. And see where we will be at the end of it,” Siwale said.
