However, following the victory on Sunday, ZNS commander Maliti Solochi was happy with the result but reminded the coach that there were two games remaining for him to secure his job.“All sponsors want to see their teams win,” Solochi told reporters at the Independence Stadium. “Our impression today is that we have a good team with a good fighting spirit. All they need is to be pushed to work for their money.“I gave him three matches, Ultimatum, so he is remaining with two matches. It is still there; they must win two matches; he [Namazaba] has won one; he has redeemed himself, which is very good; and also, the players have shown that we must always play as a team. It’s not always the coach to blame; it’s also the players. The Choma-based side now sits in 12th place in the standings with 8 points from seven games played so far.Green Eagles’ next two games will be against Zambia Army-sponsored side Green Buffaloes and newly promoted side Trident FC.
The two matches will decide coach Namazaba’s fate at the club, according to the ZNS commander.
