Francis Mwansa, the goalie for Trident F.C, will be departing the North-western based side during the current transfer period.
The COSAFA Cup-winning Chipolopolo Boys player moved from Zesco Mailati Rangers to Trident F.C. in 2021.
Mwansa was in goal during the semifinal match with South Africa and the final against Lesotho, where he kept a clean sheet.
Trident Football club management confirmed Mwansa’s departure from the team and the club has him well in future.
Following his accomplishments with the Zambia Under 23 National Team and his assistance in helping the club secure promotion to the MTN Super League, the young goaltender was voted the most improved club player of the season this past season.
Francis Mwansa joins GBFC.
“Francis has today ended his association with Trident F.C after completing a move away from the club, to join a super league side,” according to a post on the club’s Facebook page.
