Kabwe warriors lost their second game of the season when they played Power Dynamos in a week 8 fixture at Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium on Sunday.

Warriors gave away a two-goal lead to lose 2-3, a thing which angered their fans in Kabwe.

The Magnificent people’s team have so far managed to win only one game, drawn four and lost two with some fans now describing the club’s performance this season as “not impressive” despite the appointment of veteran coach, George Lwandamina.

The five-time Super League champions are currently sitting in 14th position with 8 points from 8 games played so far.

Several Kabwe warriors’ fans have since expressed disappointment with the performance of coach George Lwandamina and have taken their grievances to various social media platforms.

“Indeed, Chicken is not taking us anywhere honestly after leading now we are panicking.” Said Andrew Chakupalesa on Facebook.

“It’s very unfair there is no way a coach is busy applying for a coaching job elsewhere while he has a running contract with a team, you can’t save two masters at once.” Tweeted Musanshi Eric.

“Fire the coach already this is out of hand, Chicken can’t even make right decisions at the right time.” Said Abson Chisila.

“The sleeping giant with self-inflicted problems. Having no regards for the people that make the team magnificent. If the Exco has any conscious then its right to look for a new coach that shares the same philosophy as the team. As things go, we better start preparing for National league.” wrote Pascale Chawelwa.

It remains to be seen if Lwandamina will regain support from majority of the fans that want him out of the club with reports also making rounds that he has applied for the vacancy coaching job at Ghanaian club HEARTS OF OAK.

Two Zambian clubs have in a space of two weeks parted company with their head coaches due to poor results with only eight games into the season.

Green Eagles football club sent their head coach Aggrey Chiyangi and his first assistant on administrative leave while Zesco United on Sunday parted ways with Numba Mumamba a day after they were eliminated from the CAF Confederations Cup in the preliminary rounds by Royal Am of South Africa.
