Fans Reacts To Power Dynamos’ Third League Defeat

Aba Yellow fans have taken to social media to express their dissatisfaction with the run of results in the league.

Pressure has piled on Power Dynamos coach Oswald Mutapa following their 1 – 0 loss against Mufulira Wanderers at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe on Saturday.

It is now three losses for Power, in the last six league matches, who at the start of the season were tipped to be title contenders.

They now sit two points behind leaders Zesco United who are out of action until Sunday. 

Evans Chisenga scored the lone goal of the game in the 22nd minute. 

Fans have taken to social media to express their dissatisfaction with the run of results.

Fans display a banner with a message “Aleya” to mean, Oswald Mutapa must go.

Evans Bwembya, a Power fan wrote: “Why even keep him as if he is just volunteering for the club when he’s on a huge salary with competitive allowances,” in reference to Mutapa. 

Steve Kalinda stated, “Send coach on administrative leave. He is cluesless. Three loses in a row is an acceptable!!”

Other results saw Green Eagles register a 1-2 away win against Kabwe Warriors, at Godfrey Ucar Chitalu stadium.

In Mazabuka, FC MUZA were too good for Nchanga Rangers, picking a 2 nil victory. It is a first defeat for Rangers in their last six league matches.

It was Nchanga’s first defeat, since George Lwandamina took over as head coach in his last three matches in charge.
