Napsa Stars Football Club is close to sealing a deal for Kabwe Warriors striker Godfrey Binga during the January transfer window, BolaNews has learned.
Binga has been in red-hot form this season, netting eight goals in 18 games. His impressive performance has caught the attention of Napsa Stars, who are struggling in front of goal, managing just 13 goals in the first half of the campaign.
Head coach Sipho Mumbi hinted at bolstering his attack after the team’s final match of 2023.
“We need to add one or two players, especially upfront, to help what we currently have,” Mumbi said.
Sources reveal that Binga’s move from Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium to Napsa’s Reiz Arena is nearing completion. The deal is expected to be finalized before the league resumes on January 11th for the second round of the season.
Napsa is winless in their last seven games and currently ranks 13th in the standings. In their efforts to avoid relegation this season, the club is willing to assist Mumbi by strengthening his squad in January.
