Mutondo Stars striker Titus Chansa, who leads the MTN Super League Golden Boot race with seven (7) goals, says his team is confident they will meet their objectives for the season.
Mutondo Stars are off to a good start in the MTN Super League this season, sitting second with 15 points from eight games.
They have won four, drawn three, and lost one match.
“I think this season we are here to compete and not to add numbers,” Chansa told BolaNews in an exclusive interview.
“I am pretty sure that according to the target we have for this season, we are going to achieve more and more than we did last season.
“My motivation for this season is that I started scoring goals as early as in week 8 and I think scoring goals is my motivation at most.”
Chansa has scored five goals in the last four games for Mutondo Stars and he says he is also eyeing a national team call-up.
“I will keep on improving in each and every game and score more goals so that I earn myself a national team call-up,” he said.
Mutondo Stars will travel to Lusaka to face Zanaco in their Week 9 of the Super League at Sunset Stadium.
