Last weekend, Eagles lost 2-1 to Young Green Eagles, and the team is 17th on the table with six points.

Kasolota has only managed to get one win from the eight matches, drawing four, losing four times.

Club Chief Executive Officer, Haggai Mabumbula said that the decision is aimed probing the duo’s performance.

“We have placed head coach Samuel Kasolota and technical advisor Shadrick Mulenga on administrative leave; this decision allows us to do a thorough evaluation of their performance, and we will communicate our final verdict of this matter within 30 days,” Mabumbula said.

“Following a thorough review, we have decided to terminate the contract of team manager Chisenga Nguni with immediate effect. Gibe Zulu will act as interim team manager in this transition period.”

“The club remains committed to strengthening its leadership and ensuring the best path forward for the team’s success. Further updates will be provided in due course,” he added.

Consequently, former Zimbabwean international midfielder Zimiseleni Moyo, who featured for Zanaco FC, Zesco United, and Lusaka Dynamos in the Zambian Super League, takes charge of the team on an interim basis.
