Aggrey Chiyangi, the head coach of Nkwazi FC, has stated that his team would not take Atletico Lusaka lightly when they play on Sunday at Nkoloma Stadium in the MTN FAZ Super League’s Week Four match.

Chiyangi’s Nkwazi FC are coming off a 1-0 home defeat to NAPSA Stars in their midweek fixture.

But for Atletico Lusaka, newcomers to the top tier, are riding high after their historic first win in the league, a 1-0 victory over Zanaco at Sunset Stadium on Thursday.

“For us, we are not going to underrate them. We are going to take them like we are taking any other team in the Super League,” Chiyangi stated during a pre-match interview, emphasizing the importance of treating every opponent with respect.

Regarding his team’s readiness for the impending encounter, Chiyangi expressed optimism that Nkwazi FC had bounced back from their most recent setback and were ready for the task at hand.

“From the last game that we played, I think we have prepared well for the next game,” he said, acknowledging the difficulty of the task ahead.

Atletico Lusaka, who gave Zanaco a tough time during their midweek fixture, will be looking to build on their victory. Chiyangi predicted that the clash would not be an easy one.

“We know that the game we are going to play against Atletico won’t be easy, but we have planned all that we can do, and all the players are ready to play the game tomorrow,” he added.

Having already experienced triumph once previously, both clubs will be looking for their second victory of the 2024–25 season going into their Week Four match.
