With six players having left Power Dynamos in the space of one week, football scout Chiti Chitundu has expressed concern about the high turnover.
On Tuesday, Power announced the departure of two captains, Aaron Katebe and Prince Mumba. They have been joined by Musonda Kapembwa and Austin Muwowo.
The announcement came a week after the club announced the departure of striker and golden boot winner Moses Shumah.
Chitundu, who is Zambia’s first FIFA player agent, said the turnover is worrying.
“It is not unusual but sometimes it can be worrying to see a club lose so many players after a go; it will be interesting to see what the club has lined up,” Chitundu said.
He said he trusts the club has a plan to beef up the squad.
“I am sure they are working out something; you cannot lose six players and just leave it at that just a month in-between before the new season,” he said.
Chitundu said that as the team plans to defend the title and participate in the Champions League, it will be key that they have a good replacement.
