Chipepo’s Power departure was unceremonious; it is no surprise the club has yet to clear him nearly a month after he ditched them for Forest Rangers.
Football being what it is, he will come face-to-face with his former bosses this Saturday. The match has been billed for Dola Hill Stadium in Ndola
With his clearance issue yet to be resolved, Chipepo is likely to issue instructions from the stands, with the aid of technology, to his assistant, Manchi Janza.
He told his club media that the technical bench has prepared the team to beat the defending champions.
“We are going to play a very good side; they have good players and are playing very well,” he said. “But if I look at the way we have prepared here at Dola Hill, we are prepared to pick up three points against Power Dynamos,” Chipepo said.
Chipepo is riding on his knowledge of the players he coached to the league title last season to mastermind a win over Power.
“I know the players; I know the way they play and we have planned very well for them,” he said.

On the emotion of facing his former team, Chipepo said he is able to put his emotions under subjection.
“I just have to control myself. They [Power] are still my family and I have come to make another family here. It’s just a matter of playing a game and making sure we make ourselves happy,” he said.
Both Forest and Power come into this match on the back of 1 – all draws.
